Patricia Underwood is a private studio located in the heart of the Fashion District in New York City. We specialize in making hand blocked felts, hand sewn straws, luxurious knits and custom patterned cut-and-sew styles.

Patricia’s long term philosophy dictates that each hat fit the aesthetic of the owner, and style of her wardrobe. Making every hat a personal and lovingly crafted accessory.

The studio is a true American production space. From the locally sourced production materials, to the hand blocking process and sewing, everything takes place inside the walls of the studio. The space also serves as an informal archive of Patricia’s former creations. It is truly a unique place.
